Laking It! (GM Egbert's Group 1)

Post by Egbert » Mon Mar 03, 2003 6:47 pm

This is the official thread for my new group, in case any of the players would like to talk trash, post player info, criticize me :x , etc.

The game link is http://www.angelfire.com/dragon/egbert/group1.html Most clans are fairly represented, and it looks to be an interesting game.

Good luck all!

I notice that you conveniently failed to mention your plans for the rest of this game.
There's no need to fear...........

Sure is, and now the fun begins

P.S. SmashFace - my apologies for my heated comments earlier, they were mainly (not entirely) based around my thought you would be attacking a turn earlier - thus the outcome (in my mind) was going to be a lot worse...

Of course we knew you would attack, but I went and ballsed Everything up by missing the turn, man I had a WHOLE heap of goodies ready for you.

Man that just really sucks.

I must complement Smashface, his attack that took 3 cities was impressive and bold. I was a bit surprized to see my spells getting through this last turn. I would have thought that SF's MRES was higher.

BTW SF- you owe Massie big time. He threw a spell that dropped the level of my armies in 35 by .75. Had he not, I think my armies would have been victorious.

Massie - nice choice of spells, it was exactly what was needed.

My money is still on Nesty to pull this one off.

GO CoN GO!

Missed turns

Sorry about missing so many turns this game. I'm trying to sell my house and getting it ready has taken a lot of time.

In response to GM, well its kinda hard to keep your MRE's up when you get hit with 3 WOKhells 2 Goldburners, and a Monsterburner....

great game by everyone, well played by all. Nesty, i think you have forgotten i DON'T make mistakes ;) ;) ;) LOL!

finally to GM, i hope you didn't put too much money on this ;)

Yeah well, I guess I am just not as perfect as you SmashFace, ah well, one day

Also, balls to me, messed up an order which would have keep us going -

~ Order [04][1][13][11][100000]
[You have 6 valid Attack orders left to use]
#13 and 11 are not neighboring Provinces. Attack stopped.

You're right, Nesty --- you could have taken province 11 with 1 army, which was one of SF's 8 cities. Coincidentally, you also messed up that order by putting in an extra zero, which I deleted. Here is your original order:

[04][1]=[13][11][1000000]

They can happen to you,
If you're young at heart."
