What games do you offer ?
First of all we have WOK4 and WOK5, both are play-by-email wargames for 10 Players per Group. WOK4 is the easy one, quick to play and learn - just what a beginner needs ! WOK5 is more complex and offers also economic aspects as well as magic, special units and things like a marketplace. All these games are played offline, by sending your orders to the GM (GameMaster) that runs your game. All orders are sent online with the AOF - the Automated Order Forms you find on this site. The GM will scan in all the orders and generate the new Turn as well as the new map for your Group. Games range from Speedgames (daily orders) to ones with weekly turns. There are common games and X-games (with modified rules or additions)

Im new, what do I need to do ?
First of all if you want to play our play-by-email games you will need to find yourself a Clan. Clans are the 'glue' of Kaomaris - they help all new Players find their way through the community, give you advice and help you out in your games. Check all Clans available by going either to the CLANS INTRODUCTORY PAGE or directly to the main CLANS PAGE - just mail a Clan Head from a Clan you like and he will give you all the informations you require to join.

I wanna play !
Sure, thats why you are here after all.... once you are a member of a Clan make sure to check all other sites within the community. There is THE MESSAGEBOARD with all the gossip and discussions around the WOK games, or THE KAOBASE, our database of all current games and GMs that run them. Make sure to sign up as MEMBER to get the latest issue of our newsletter, the WOK MESSENGER. Read the MANUALS, FAQs etc.
As a new, 'Beginner' Player, you are limited to play WOK4 games. Once you have reached the 'Advanced' Status (after starting 3 games) you may also try your luck at WOK5 games. Feel free to join any WOK4 'Advanced' games even as a Beginner, but be warned - competition is fierce there....

What else is there ?
You may want to try your hands at our great new boardgame, WOK STONEWARS, too - a free download is available through the Main page. Another quick download could be WOK CARDWARS - get it if you like solitaire-like games ! More games like WOK6 are in the pipeline. We also encourage you to test Matt Wordens (aka 'Brykovian') games, check HIS SITE and enjoy his wonderful work ! All online games from both sites support Matt's GAME PUB, a utility to chat and find opponents willing to challenge you online.

How can I support the community ?
If you are interested in playing a more active role within WOK, just email CASABLANCA, our official WOK guide. You may want to run WOK4 and WOK5 games as a GM yourself, we always welcome such initiative. Please apply only if you mean serious business, we only look to support reliable new GMs that will not abandon their players in the middle of a game. Of course we also look to collect money in order to pay our server costs on time - if you manage to have a few bucks left we'd be happy if you could donate through the (PayPal) 'Donate' link on the main site. Also, 10% of all money collected from people buying the PRO version of WOK STONEWARS will be used to pay the server bills.
